In this episode of Money With Mission, we talk with Charity Marcus, an entrepreneur and political strategist, and co-founder of Black Women Business Owners of Tulsa. We talk about her start as an event coordinator and her eventual transition into consulting and politics, in addition to creating her own businesses Avenu PR and Avenu Consulting.
Charity talks about her work with the Governor's Minority Business Council, Teach Not Punish and The Oklahoma Advisory Commission to the United States Commission on Civil Rights. We discuss the political strategies in these different groups, and how they can provide help from a local level to empower those she is representing.
